Community yoga for wellbeing

Hatha yoga
My primary focus is one-to-one yoga therapy, but I still enjoy the energy I get from teaching classes. Before the disruptions of 2020 I was regularly teaching a group class at Auckland's Mount Eden Prison in partnership with Yoga Education in Prisons Trust and for adults with disabilities at Ranfurly Care, Epsom. If you are interested in hosting a yoga class at your place of work or marae, I'd be happy to meet with you to discuss options.
I have been teaching yoga for ten years at Orere Point in Auckland. It's a friendly, rural setting where students are free to explore all aspects of yoga at a pace, level of comfort and mobility that works for each person. These Hatha classes are held at Orere Point War Memorial Hall from 8am through to 9.15am.
The Saturday morning sessions are the opportunity to slow down and reconnect with yourself and your local community. We operate on a Koha system where student offerings reflect the value of what they receive. My aim is for students to leave feeling more balanced, grounded, supported and ready to meet the day with clarity and openness.
I am registered with Yoga New Zealand, REPS NZ
